Slayden opened a new office in Salem, Oregon, this year. The office houses up to 35 people and is strategically located closer to clients and a major freeway, providing a new space as Slayden continues to grow and win projects. The office features a new bid room at the center of the office. The estimating team can now come together, closely collaborate, and use it for training and other preconstruction initiatives.
Being an open and collaborative space, the new location features a large kitchen and eating space, increasing how often employees utilize the space and nourishing a community-oriented and interactive environment. This area has already served as a central meeting place for events, bringing craft and office personnel, clients, engineers, and subcontractors together.
This new space moves office personnel from Stayton, which was Slayden’s mainstay for over 30 years. Fleet operations continue to be based out of Stayton.

Slayden Constructors and Jacobs Engineering recently completed a $78 million expansion of the Robert A. Duff Water Treatment Plant for the Medford Water Commission. The project boosts capacity from 45 to 65 million gallons per day and adds advanced filtration, a new reservoir, a modern pump station, and seismic‑resilient redundancies. This upgrade strengthens long‑term water reliability for Medford and the greater Rogue Valley, supporting regional growth and public health.
