Slayden served as the Progressive Design-Builder for the City of Bend’s Southeast Area Plan Pump Station Project. The project extends wastewater infrastructure to Bend’s Southeast Area, providing new sewer service capacity to support future growth, development, and long-term serviceability within the City’s urban growth area.

During preconstruction, Slayden worked with the City and design team to advance design, evaluate constructability, develop cost models, plan early work, and sequence long-lead procurement. The project was delivered through multiple contract amendments, including preconstruction and design, long-lead equipment procurement, early civil work, and a final GMP package to complete the remaining scope.

Construction includes a new sewer pump station with a chemical/electrical building, generator foundation and backup power generator, electrical and instrumentation improvements, site utilities, final grading, and site finishes. The project also includes installation of gravity sewer and force main, potable water, chemical feed, aeration air, underground power, sewer access roads, and restoration of temporary construction easements.
