Falls City Slow Sand Filter

This small slow sand filter plant was built to provide finished potable water for the City of Falls City.  Construction of the plant included clearing and grubbing a two acre site, installation of RW and FW piping to and from the plant, three new filters, media and pipe distribution, a covered chlorine contact basin and clearwell, and control building to house monitoring equipment, controls and provide office and operating space.  The plant is designed to be fully automated and requires minimal staff time to operate.
